Tickets available now for party featuring live music by Aurelio Voltaire and The Long Losts, tarot card readings, costume contests, food, drink and more
SHREVEPORT, LA—On Halloween night, Downtown Shreveport’s historic Logan Mansion will be transformed into the lair of the Goblin King during “Labyrinth,” an extravagant, adults-only costume party featuring live music by Aurelio Voltaire and The Long Losts, tarot card readings by Mama B., “King and Queen of the Goblins” costume contests with cash prizes and crownings, festive food and drink, and much more. The party will take place, 8 p.m. until midnight, at various locations on the grounds of Logan Mansion, a Queen Ann-style Victorian mansion located at 725 Austen Place in Shreveport.
Though Aurelio Voltaire typically spends much of the year touring, his headlining performance at “Labyrinth” will be his first and only performance of 2020 in the U.S. or Europe. Voltaire is a musician and filmmaker whose music has been featured on Cartoon Network. Over the course of a 20-year career in music, he has released 11 albums that have won a huge following among fans of horror, sci-fi and the macabre.
“I can think of no better place to spend Halloween night than in a haunted mansion, under a full moon, a mere half a block away from a graveyard,” Voltaire said. “This event truly has all of the makings of the perfect Halloween party!”
Tickets are $75 per person for general admission, including heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, and a tarot card reading by Mama B., or $125 per person for a VIP experience that will include an exclusive meet-and-greet with Aurelio Voltaire, a custommade PPE mask and gloves created by Voltaire, open bar, VIP seating during artists’ performances, a tarot card reading by Mama B, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and more. Costumes are required for all guests.
Culinary offerings for the evening will be prepared by Chef John Cariere, of Cariere Catering, and will include Cariere’s signature canapés as well as mini meatball skewers, chicken salad finger sandwiches, deviled eggs, mini pots of “witches brew” jambalaya, stacked waffle burgers, Cajun wings, three types of sushi, and personal Halloween treat bags filled with homemade chocolate goodies.

This event will be held rain or shine, and no refunds will be issued for ticket purchases. COVID-19 social distancing rules applicable to outdoor settings will be observed in keeping with the current phase of reopening on Oct. 31.
Built in 1897 by beer and ice magnate Lafayette Robert Logan, the 17-room Logan Mansion has been the site of numerous reports of paranormal activity. Guests will have opportunities to explore the mansion and grounds throughout the event.
The night of Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 is an extraordinarily rare “blue moon” Halloween night, making it the perfect time to join in this one-of-a-kind celebration.
