John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

MOUTON CAMPAIGN: $58,700 IN LOANS THROUGH OCT. 14

Edward Mouton is a candidate for Shreveport City Judge. His opponents are Emily Merckle and Paul Wood.

The latest campaign report filed by Mouton is for the period of Sept. 25 through Oct. 14.

The report shows loans in that period of $5600. That brings the total loans by Mouton to his campaign of $58,758.

Wood reported expenses during the reporting period of $9500.

His campaign funds on hand as of Oct. 14 were $4400.
