Surprise--Louisiana is now honoring Acadian Day on Black Friday.

That means today (Wed.) and Saturday are the last 2 days to early vote for the Dec. 5 election.

The Registrar of Voter's Office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. It is located in the Ward Building on the corner of Marshall Street and Milam Street.

On street parking will be a breeze today because very few people are downtown. Parking is free on Saturday.
There are NO lines at the Registrar's Office.

All Caddo citizens can vote on a constitutional amendment.

There is a run off between Emily Settle Merckle and Edward Mouton for Shreveport city judge.

Hosston residents vote on police chief and mayor.

There is a justice of peace ward 6 run-off between Billy Gaston, Jr. and Kevin McClure.

There are several contested races for the Republican State Central Committee.
