MY FIRST TELEMED VIRTUAL VISIT WITH MY PHYSICIAN

It was a new life experience necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. And it was a good one.
Not being the most computer savvy person and being somewhat "old school" I had my reservations.
My notion of a medical consultation was going to the doctor's office, then into a patient room to describe my symptoms to a nurse/PA, and then actually seeing the doctor in person.
Often, I left after getting a shot, a prescription and/or being sent to the lab for blood work. A routine like most others seeking medical assistance.
But with the pandemic, my internist, Dr. P.V. "Pete" Blanchard was only seeing emergencies in his office. My issue of swollen ankles and a rash on my legs certainly did not meet that criteria.
