John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

CORRECTION: CAMARA ALSO WILL NOT TO SEEK THE SEAT

Njeri Camara also indicated in her interview that she would not seek the District A position in the Nov. election. Camara is a teacher and it seems  unlikely that she could continue her teaching career and fulfill council duties satisfactorily.

Rose McCulloch also pledged to not run for the seat. Having lost two bids for the seat, it is apparent that she is not a favorite in the district.

Despite their representations, both of these ladies could run for the seat this fall if selected.
