John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

CADDO PARISH CONTRACTS FOR CONFEDERATE MONUMENT REMOVAL CONSULTANT

Energy Services and Products Corporation (Energy Services) has been contracted to provide consulting services for the Parish of Caddo (Parish)for the removal of the Daughters of the Confederacy Monument on the Caddo Courthouse grounds.

Energy Services will assist the Parish in the prepartion of a Request for Proposals (RFP) and review the RPFs.

Energy Services will also review the removal process and provide reports to the

Parish.

Total payment to Energy Services is $21,000 payable as follows:

Upon completion of the study and report phase $4,000

Upon completion of the proposal and negotion phse $4000

Upon completion of the construction phase $13,000.
