John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

Four and a half years ago on Oct. 26, 2016, candidate Donald Trump announced “A New Deal for Black America.” A 10-point plan for urban renewal of which it appears he took action on only two, protection from illegal immigration and America First foreign policy. Where do you think we would be today if he had taken action on the other eight, especially great education through school choice, safe communities, tax reforms to create jobs and lift up people and communities, and financial reforms to expand credit to support new job creation?
