WILLS FOR HEROS

Local lawyers are teaming up to provide free wills to local first responders.

The Louisiana State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division and the Harry V. Booth – Judge Henry A. Politz Inn of Court are hosting a Wills for Heroes Event for Shreveport and Bossier City first responders this Thursday, June 24. The Wills for Heroes Foundation works nationwide with affiliate organizations to provide free wills and other estate planning documents to first responders, including police officers, firefighters, and paramedics.

“We are so excited to offer this service to our local first responders,” said program coordinator Sarah Giglio.

Slots are filled for the program on Thursday, June 24, but organizers look forward to making this an annual event.
