Not to be lost in all these great activities is a major election in a little more than 4 weeks.
Yes, that's only 31 days from now.
On Nov. 8 Shreveport voters will vote on its next mayor and four council representatives.
Many of the mayoral campaigns have been low key to date. One can expect this to change in the near
future.
Campaign finance reports must be filed with the Louisiana Ethics Administration by Tues. Oct. 11 for the time interval from Jan. 1 of this year through Sept. 29. These reports will reflect fundraising, expenses, and remaining campaign funds.
Money of the name of the game for politics and the mayoral candidates will soon be emptying their checkbooks to make the primary.
