CITY OF SHREVEPORT SUES TO SHUT DOWN HUSTLER HOLLYWOOD AND CINDIE'S LINGERIE

A suit was filed today in Caddo District Court by the city of Shreveport to prevent Hustler Hollywood, Cindie's, and Cindie's Lingerie from opening their retail operations.

Hustler Hollywood is located at 6109 Financial Plaza in the old IHOP.

Cindie's is located at 9402 Mansfield Road.

Cindie's Lingerie is located at 1106 Shreveport-Barksdale Highway.

Both of the Cindie’s locations have been open for several years.

Hustler Hollywood is attempting to open this week.

Hustler Hollywood was inspected by the MPC Zoning Administrator and representatives of the city on Oct. 28.

The pleadings assert that more than 20% of the interior sales and display space contained items that are banned unless the business is properly licensed as a Sexually Oriented Business. (SOB).

Cindie's Lingerie and Cindie's were also inspected on that day with the same findings.

The city is seeking an immediate restraining order to close all three businesses.

The case is assigned to Judge Ramon Lafitte. He has yet to grant the requested temporary restraining
order.

Since both Cindie’s stores have been open for an extended period, questions are being raised why the
inspections were not made sooner.
