John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

EARLY VOTING STARTS THIS SATURDAY NOV. 26 AT TWO SHREVEPORT LOCATIONS

The general (run-off) election for Shreveport mayor, two council seats and three Caddo school board seats is Sat. Dec.10.

Shreveport voters can early vote in two locations: the Caddo Registrar of Voters office on corner of

Marshall and Milam downtown and Shreve Memorial Library Hamilton Branch at 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

Voting hours are from 8:30 a.m. -- 6 p.m.

Dates are Sat. (Nov.26) and then Mon. (Nov.28) through Sat. (Dec. 3).
