Tom Arceneaux recently filed his campaign financial report for his mayoral campaign. The report covered the time period ending Dec. 31, 2021.
The report showed funds on hand of $116,850.
The maximum contribution that can be made by an individual or a legal entity is $2,500. Arceneaux had many maximum contributions: Collier Racing Inc.; Karen Elizabeth Chaney Barbaree; Phillip R. Barbaree; Bellevue Place; Collier Investments; Sarah Collier; Cook, Yancey, King & Galloway; Edward J. Crawford III; Pearla T. Despot: G. Archer Frierson II; Ivy H. Frierson; A. D. Johnson Jr.; Fred A. Kent; Jordan M. Lewis; Michael P. McCarthy; Thomas E. McKneely; Sarsh Technologies Inc.; John R. Seale; Nancy R. Seale; Delton H. Smith; Ann M. Stokes; Sunset, LLC; Yokem Motors; and H. Alan Yokem.
The Collier entities are owned by Sarah and Mike Collier. The bundling of donations from separate entities is legal.
Arceneaux had very few contributions from city vendors, including law firms.
Notable contributions included $2,000 from Lory R. Evensky, $1,500 from James D. Gosslee and former City Councilman Keith D. Peterson Jr., and $1,000 from Shreveport Police Federal Credit Union.
Arceneaux loaned his campaign $1,000.
His statement reflected 80 contributions from individuals and 18 from businesses.
Adrian Perkins’ campaign report reflected 27 contributions from individuals, 29 from businesses, and one from a political action committee (PAC).
