COUNCILMAN JACKSON SHOWS UP FOR THE GLAMOUR BUT NOT DIRTY WORK

Last Friday Mar. 4 the Southern Hills Business Association and the Southern Hills Homeowner's Association sponsored a ribbon cutting for the dog park to be located at the Southern Hills Community Center/Park.

Councilman Alan Jackson served as the master of ceremonies for the event.

The next day Sat. these two groups had a well-publicized quarterly cleanup for the Southern Hills area.

Jackson was invited to this event which featured trash and debris pickup.

Jackson was featured in at least on TV story on the dog park.

He did not make the news on the clean up because he was a NO Show.

Jackson was a surprise appointment to the Shreveport City Council to fill the open seat after James Flurry resigned. Several candidates are expected to run for the District E seat this fall.
