FREE GUN LOCKS WILL NOT CURE IRRESPONSIBILITY BY GUN OWNERS

Shreveport Mayor Perkins wants to provide free gun locks.
Councilmember Tabitha Taylor says the increase in accidental shooting is a "public health emergency.".
People who buy guns and ammunition can afford to buy gun locks.
People who are irresponsible have loaded guns in places that are very accessible to young children.
Handing out free gun locks will not make these individuals more responsible.
Calling the recent shootings a "public health emergency" will not make these individuals more responsible.
TV posturing will not make will not make people be more responsible with their guns.
Claiming racial discrimination, or even hinting at it, will not make people more responsible with their guns.
The recent shooting are tragic and reflect irresponsibility.
The gun access to very young children is reprehensible and reflects irresponsibility.
The death and injuries from the shootings are inexcusable and reflect irresponsibility.
They actions/inaction of the gun owners are criminal and reflect irresponsibility.
Unfortunately free gun locks will not make irresponsible gun owners become more responsible.
