And I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and limited transportation.

I have lived, worked and voted in Shreveport all my life.

My kids live out of state, and I am a widow.

My kids have given me a smart phone, programmed it and taught me how to use it..sorta.

I emailed the city and my council representative several times about my water bill being too high and I could not afford it. 

I have gotten a notice that if not paid it will be cut off.

My garbage has not been picked up for a month. I don't generate much, but my bin is full and the flies are horrible.

I emailed , or at least tried to email , the city departments asking for help.

I did the same with my council member.

No responses.

I wonder if my email has been cut off from the city and my council member.

Can this really happen to me as a lifelong resident of my home city?

No this did NOT happen.

At least NOT to my knowledge.

But if it happened to me, who else has had their access to the city email domain blocked?

Or who in the future could experience this plight.

Think about it.
