BIG MESS ON SHREVEPORT MAIL IN BALLOTS FOR MAYOR AND COUNCIL

Numerous Shreveport citizens have complained that the mail in ballots they received do not properly
reflect their choices for council.

It appears that some citizens have ballots based on the old city council lines, not the new lines for this
year's election.

Reports have surfaced that some ballots mailed to residents in Districts A, B, and G are incorrect.

There is also a report that some residents living outside the city limits have received ballots for
Shreveport mayor and council races.

In addition to the incorrect ballots, many new voter registration cards have the wrong information.

These issues are being addressed by Caddo Registrar of Voters Dale Sibley and the Louisiana
Secretary of State.
