TOMORROW (SAT.) IS THE LAST DAY TO EARLY VOTE FOR THE NOV. 18 RUN-OFF ELECTIONS

What will the weather be like on Sat. Nov. 18? Who will go to Baton Rouge for the LSU game? Who will be in the deer stand? What other events and activities will be happening in the local area that day? It’s all the reason to vote early.

Caddo voters have run-off elections on the Nov. 18 ballot. The parish wide races are for Sheriff, Tax Assessor and BESE Board. Some parish voters will also have Senate district 39 and House district 4 on the ballot.

There are also state-wide run-off elections for Attorney General and Treasurer.

Today (Fri.) is Veteran's Day and there is no early voting. But you can vote tomorrow (Sat.). Hours for voting are from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

There are two early voting locations: the Registrar of Voters office at 525 Marshall Street across from the Caddo courthouse and at the Hamilton Branch Library at 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. Its free parking downtown on Saturdays, and it’s always free at the library.

Voters are reminded to take proof of identification to the polls such as driver's license, governmental ID, etc.
