EARLY VOTING HAS STARTED FOR NOV. 18 RUN-OFF ELECTIONS
What will the weather be like on Saturday, Nov. 18? Who will go to Baton Rouge for the LSU game? What other events and activities will be happening in the local area that day? It’s all the reason to vote early.
Caddo voters have run-off elections on the Nov. 18 ballot. The parish wide races are for Sheriff, Tax Assessor and BESE Board. Some parish voters will also have Senate district 39 and House district 4 on the ballot.
There are also state-wide run-off elections for Attorney General and Treasurer.
Early voting began on Friday, Nov. 3. Voters can cast their ballots through Saturday, Nov. 11 with the exception of Sunday, Nov. 5 and Veteran's Day, Nov.10. Hours for voting are from 8:30 am until 6:00 pm each day.
Early voting is held at two locations: the Registrar of Voters office at 525 Marshall Street across from the Caddo courthouse and at the Hamilton Branch Library at 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.
Voters are reminded to take proof of identification to the polls such as driver's license, governmental ID, etc.
