SHREVEPORT SUBSIDIZES CRAWFEST BY OVER $33,000 TO CHARGE ADMISSION TO THE  FOR PROFIT PROMOTERS

What a deal!

And a precedent setting one at that.

The city of Shreveport allowed CRAWFEST promoters to charge an admission fee for the FIRST TIME  this year.

This on top of allowing the use of most of Betty Virginia Park for 5 days RENT FREE--one day for setup, 3 days festival, and one day take down.

And the cherry on top was the use of Crawfest of city equipment and staff valued by SPAR at $33,783.96.

What a deal...for Pinpoint Events, but NOT for Shreveport citizens.
