Caddo District Judge Brady O'Callaghan has just rendered an opinion in the litigation filed by Caddo DA

James Stewart against Barbara Smith-Iverson.

Judge O’Callaghan has declared the Caddo School Board District 7 seat vacant.

The lawsuit alleged that Smith-Iverson lived in Bossier City, and not in Caddo Parish.

The lawsuit alleged that the Greenwood Road address used by Smith-Iverson when she qualified for the position is vacant and that it is not zoned for residential living.

Smith-Iverson can appeal the judgement to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
