John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

BOSSIER CITY POLICE RESPONDED TO SCENE OF SATURDAY MURDER BEFORE LADY SHOT

On Sat. July 8 at approximately 1:33 a.m. Bossier City Police responded to the to a shooting at the Drake Apartments at 400 John Wesley Blvd.

A black female was shot, and she was later pronounced dead after transport to Ochsner hospital.

The police later arrested Matthew Bailey, a black male.

Bailey was at the residence earlier and reportedly a domestic violence call was made to the BPD and officers responded to the scene.

After a short investigation the officers left.

After the BPD left the scene Bailey returned and shot the woman and a dog.
