BOSSIER TERM LIMITS COALTION SUCCESSFUL IN TERM LIMIT EFFORT

The Bossier City Term Limits Coalition has obtained the necessary signatures in the effort to enact term limits for Bossier mayor and term limits to three consecutive terms.

Mayor Tommy Chandler and councilman Chris Smite signed the petition.

The Bossier Council must vote on the proposal within 30 days from yesterday (Mon.)

If the Council does not approve by a majority vote, then the council must then call a voter referendum within 120 days.

Its presumed that Chandler will not veto any council approval.
