Here is a summary of his comments:

1. Extra SPD officers were on duty in the downtown area over the weekend.

2. He is encouraging the downtown nightclubs to cooperate on noise and crowed control matters.

3. The city attorney's office is working on a new city noise ordinance which should be more reasonable in its application and easier for enforcement.

4. Discussions are still be had with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson on a lease of the Millennium Studios and Expo Hall.

5. There has been no movement on resolution of the demolition of the Fairgrounds Field baseball stadium dispute. He did say maintaining the stadium is inconsistent with the REV Entertainment plans for the fairgrounds.
