WILL BOSSIER COUNCIL APPROVE SALE OF BOOZE AT FAMILY DOLLAR STORES ON TUESDAY?

The Bossier City Council meets Tues. (Aug. 15) at 3 p.m.

The agenda includes the application approvals of four Bossier Family Dollar Stores to sell high and low content alcohol for off premises consumption:

2226 East Texas Street

5350 East Texas Street

4100 Barksdale Boulevard

5382 Barksdale Boulevard

If approved, the stores will be able to sell beer, wine, and liquor.

Bossier prides itself on being business friendly.

The question is how friendly will the seven council members--and Bossier citizens--be to adding more places to buy booze?
