John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

Key Academy is still accepting students from Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Desoto. Bienville and Natchitoches parishes.

And students can even transfer to Key Academy after the first progress reports are issued.

Key Academy is a charter school, and it is tuition free.

A ribbon cutting and open house is scheduled for tomorrow (Tues.) at 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon. There is also an open house from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

The school is in the old Arthur Circle facility.

Both before and after school childcare is provided.

Parents are urged to consider testing their children.
