SIBLEY PRACTICES LAW OUT OF REGISTRAR'S OFFICE

Registrar of Voter Dale Sibley was hired as the full time Caddo Registrar of Voters in October 2019.

Sibley is listed as a member of a Shreveport law firm. When questioned Sibley advised that he is not prohibited from practicing law while serving as the Registrar.

Reportedly, Sibley has practiced law from this Registrar’s Office. He has had at least one local attorney appear at his Registrar’s Office to sign documents in a case.

It’s difficult to obtain the list of cases that Sibley has appeared as council since his appointment. And unfortunately, documents from his private practice of law, even if produced by a member of his staff in the Registrar’s office, are not discoverable under the Public Records Law.
