HOW MUCH MORE MONEY WILL ROY GRIGGS GIVE TO WHITEHORN CAMPAIGN?

Henry L. Whitehorn has filed Candidates Financial Reports for his Caddo Sheriff Campaign. The last report is for the time period from October 30,2023 through December 18, 2023.

These reports reveal that former hamburger king Roy Griggs is the major contributor to the Whitehorn campaign. (Griggs recently sold all his McDonald's franchisees.)

The total contributed by Griggs personally and through companies that he owns(ed) is $20,000.

These moneys were donated during the primary and general election.

Louisiana law limits contributions per person and per legal entity to $2500. A person can contribute that maximum amount personally and also for any and all legal entities that he owns.

A person can contribute that amount during the primary and again during the run-off. And with a third upcoming Sheriff election, $2500 can again be contributed individually and for each owned business entity.

Griggs has hosted at least one fundraiser since the general election for Whitehorn. How much money he has contributed since December 18, 2023 is unknown at this time. One can surmise that the amount could easily exceed $10,000.

Griggs is the campaign treasurer for Whitehorn.
