John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

John Settle

Regina Webb won the run-off November election for Caddo Parish Assessor. She takes office on January 1, 2025.

Webb is having a Meet & Great fundraiser on Thursday, March 7 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Lawler Title Company, located at 1008 Professional Drive West in Shreveport. The suggested donation is $500.

Webb loaned her campaign $6,500 on Sept. 15 of last year. Her last campaign finance report dated Dec. 15 reflected that no payments have been made on the loan.

Webb welcomes all visitors to the event.
