DDA TO HIRE SEARCH FIRM TO FILL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION

The Downtown Development Authority voted yesterday to take additional action in its effort to hire a new Executive Director.

The Board will hire a search firm to locate and send additional potential candidates for this position.

The Board also rated the top four applicants to be considered along with new potential hires:

1. Adam Bailey
2. Cedric Glover
3. Guy Fortt
4. Adrian Diego Lopez.

None of these four had the full qualifications established for the Executive Director position, especially Glover, who does not even have a college degree. Notably, a motion to hire Glover failed and former councilwoman Levette Fuller was not rated in the top four applicants.
