BIG FUSS OVER TIMELY PAY FOR CADDO SCHOOL SECURITY COORDINATORS

Who takes a new job on July 22 and not be paid until Aug. 30?

Probably no one.

Caddo Schools hired 14 security school coordinators who began work on July 22. These individuals, who are not highly paid, understood they would get their first paycheck on Aug. 15.

Surprise--they were just told no pay until Aug. 30. As can be expected this has caused economic challenges for these person.

Although it is reported the security coordinators signed a statement acknowledging no pay until the end of this month, these persons deny this.

Hmmmm...and while this pay is an issue, very low enrollment like less than a 100 at Atkins Elementary School and approximately 100 at Queensborough Elementary School is also an issue that should be front and center for the Caddo School Board at its next meeting.

ISSUES THAT THE CITY OF SHREVEPORT AND SHREVEPORT CITY COUNCIL NEED TO TIMELY ADDRESS
