John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

CITY OF SHREVEPORT LAUNCHES JOB CONNECTION WEBSITE FOR DR.REDDY’S EMPLOYEES

In response to the upcoming closure of the Dr. Reddy’s facility on March 14, 2025, the City of  Shreveport has launched a new online resource to support affected employees. The website,  created by the City’s Economic Development Department, will be available starting February 11,  2025. It is designed to connect Dr. Reddy’s employees with local employers and career  opportunities as they navigate this challenging transition. 

The new website will serve as a one-stop resource for employees seeking new opportunities  and for local businesses eager to connect with a talented workforce. Employees and employers  alike can access the site through the City’s One-Stop platform, the City’s website, and the  Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. Links here:
