BOSSIER MAYOR GOLFS IN VEGAS WHILE COUNCIL MEETS?

Bossier mayor Tommy Chandler was absent at the council's Tues. meeting. His absence was not explained, and many say not missed if even noticed.

Chandler has had a rough go in getting approvals for his recommendation by King David Montgomery and his  council lackeys with the exception of councilman at large Chris Smith.

Certainly a round of golf in great weather beats the heck out of a drubbing at a council meeting any day. Heck, maybe even polar ice fishing is a better option.

Chandler along with Bossier Fire Chief Brad Zagone and their buddies were on a Vegas golf trip on Tues. Since what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas the real story of their partying will never be told.

Chandler missed a major meltdown by King David when a citizen questioned the pending vote on a massive bond issue. But then Chandler is not a newcomer to that circus, having been the object of King David's tirades previously.

Hopefully Chandler mailed postcards to council members and maybe even brought back a trip gift for each of one. If he did, one can only hope he bought a big lump of coal for King David and his cadre.
