ARE ANY CONTRACTORS NAMED IN CITY OF SHREVEPORT LITIGATION ON CONSENT DECREE WORK STILL PROVIDING SERVICES FOR THE CITY?

The city of Shreveport recently filed suit against 32 contractors and subcontractors for millions of dollars paid to repair its sewage system.

The lawsuit names several local companies as defendants:
-Dixie Overland Construction, LLC (Sibley)
-Fleaux Solutions, LLC
-Hall Builders Inc.
-MAC Contracting Group, Inc.
-Pulley Construction Inc. (Benton)
-Williams Creative Group, Inc.
-Yor-Wic Construction Company Incorporated.

-Croker Construction LLC.

Yor-Wic is no longer active. The Secretary of State records reflect it was merged into another entity. A request has been made for the merger documents to determine the surviving entity.

The city of Shreveport should check to see if any of these named parties are currently providing any services for the city of Shreveport. If so, then the city should take extra precautions to ensure that the services are properly provided.

WHY WAS LITIGATION AGAINST CONSENT DECREE PARTIES NOT ANNOUNCED AFTER FILED?
