KTAL AND KSLA POLITICAL ANALYSTS HAVE ENDORSED/DONATED TO POLITICAL CANDIDATES

Tonight's election analysts for KTAL news station are Stephen Parr and Rev. Theron Jackson.

Jackson is the minister of Morningstar Baptist Church.

Jackson has endorsed Adrian Perkins for mayor and one or more council candidates.

KSLA will have Shreveport councilman Grayson Boucher and former Shreveport councilman Willie Bradford as their political analyst.

Boucher has made donations to LeVette Fuller for mayor and one or more council candidates. Bradford is a major known supporter of Greg Tarver.

Scott Hughes is the analyst for KTBS. Hughes always stays politically neutral.

Hopefully big time local Republican Royal Alexander will NOT be on KTBS as an analyst as rumored.

Hopefully the comments of the analysts will be objective and not tainted by their personal preferences and endorsements.

Comments concerning candidates who will be in a run-off election should be carefully made to not prejudice the Dec. 10 election.

NOW ALL THREE LOCAL STATIONS HAVE POLITICAL COMMENTATORS HAVE ENDORSED/DONATED TO POLITICAL CANDIDATES--GEEZ, WHAT HAPPENED TO OBJECTIVE POLITICAL REPORTING?
