IS CADDO SHERIFF CANDIDATE WHITEHORN AFRAID TO GO TO KEEL INTERVIEW?

Erin McCarty reported today on the KEEL Morning show that Caddo Sheriff candidate Henry Whitehorn was not responding to her invitation to appear on the Mike and McCarty show. She said he had earlier declined to be on the air the same week as the interview with his opponent John Nickelson citing a busy schedule. And since that response, Whitehorn has not responded to her texts.

Political candidates do have the right to decline media invitations. And on occasion they do so, especially if the media host has proven to be unfair, biased, and prejudicial. But this cannot be said by these radio hosts--Erin McCarty and Mike Martindale--who hit hardballs at all of their political guests.

Whitehorn has made public appearances in recent days and had a fundraiser sponsored by his new bff Eric Hatfield. So, he is still running his campaign to certain audiences. So why not appear on a radio show that has had interviews with political candidates from all sides of the political spectrum.

Goodness, Whitehorn wants to be the sheriff and fight crime. If he is afraid to go on KEEL radio, will he be afraid to face the bad guys?
