WHEN IS SHREVEPORT CITY COUNCIL CLERK KENDRA JOSEPH GOING TO DO HER JOB?
Kendra Joseph was hired by City Council President James Green and his council cronies in October of last year.
Obviously, she was hand-picked.
There was no advance publicity of an open position, much less a job posting.
Several members of the council were not notified that she would be nominated by Green for this position.
Unfortunately, she did not have a training period like the last clerk enjoyed under the tutelage of long-time clerk Art Thompson.
But she is an attorney, she volunteered for the job, and she has practiced with a local law firm.
What her marching orders have been since being hired are unknown.
But what is known is that she refuses to respond to very simple emails from the undersigned.
The first was last fall asking if she had been appointed as an Environmental Court hearing officer as had her predecessor.
Crickets ... as in no response to a very simple email.
Then she was sent an email last month inquiring about the resolution to hire a mogul council liaison.
Was the resolution a one-reader or a two-reader?
