John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

CADDO COMMISSION TO MEET THURS. ON DEBRIS REMOVAL AND STORM ASSISTANCE

The Caddo Commission has called a special meeting for this Thurs. at 3 p.m.

The agenda has two items.

The first is to approve appropriation of $1.5 million for debris removal in the parish.

The second is to approve $1 million for storm assistance to Caddo citizens needing storm repairs to residences.

There will be public hearing on each of these ordinances before the vote by the Commission.

It is expected both ordinances will be passed by unanimous votes.
