John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

WHAT'S ON DOTD HIGHWAY PROGRAM FOR FY 2025-2026 FOR NW LOUSIANA?

The Joint Transportation and Public Works Committee is holding a series of meetings state wide to review highway construction priorities for the state fiscal year 2025-2026.

A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 16 at 8:30 a.m. at the Bossier Civic Center for the parishes of Caddo, Bossier, Bienville, Claiborne, Desoto, Red River, and Webster parishes.

All interested persons are invited for the purpose of becoming fully acquainted with proposed program and will be afforded an opportunity to express their view in person. Oral testimony may be supplemented by presenting important facts and documentation in writing.
