IS CURTIS "50 Cent" JACKSON BUYING AMERICAN TOWER?

Rumors, rumors, rumors.

The latest rumor is that Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is also interested in purchasing the American Tower. Jackson's agents are looking at many buildings in the downtown including Tim Huck's Phoenix Underground downtown club.

Assuming Jackson does become the owner of the Dripp Donut building on the corner of Market and Texas, the purchase of American Tower becomes more sensible. That building, which is to be demolished, backs up to American Tower. Viola--additional parking for American Tower!

Jackson's investment in downtown Shreveport properties will be a welcome sign and provide new synergy for the depressed downtown office building market. Any building purchase(s) by Jackson will solidify his intentions to produce films at Millennium Studio.

Jackson makes decisions based on "green", not black, or white. Many local politicos seem to think that Jackson's business investments will directly benefit them simply because they share the same skin color.

Let’s hope that the rumored donation by DSDC to Jackson is completed and that Jackson buys the American Tower. And while he is at it, he could purchase Huck's club and other downtown properties to revitalize.
