John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

*Curtis”50 Cent” Jackson is coming Thursday, April 18!

Get ready for a big happenings this coming Thursday at Shreveport City Hall and Millenium Studios. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will be appearing at press event(s) with Mayor Tom Arceneaux and other officials to announce his future plans for film production and investment in Shreveport.

Reportedly, traffic around Millennium Studios will be blocked off for his visit from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Rumors have been circulating that Jackson will be donated the Dripp Donut building on the corner of Market and Texas Street by DSDC.

Additionally, there are rumors that Jackson will be purchasing American Tower on the corner of Market and Travis.
