2. What is your commitment to teacher pay increases, teacher training and assistance in the classroom? How would you implement these steps?

3. What is commitment to ensure students in elementary school can read and write? How can you implement your ideas, especially to bring students up to grade level?

4. What is your commitment to transforming the high school experience? What actions will you take to ensure students are ready for the following:

a. college success
b. high wage job success without college degree
c. ready for public service without college degree--social, religious, civic and/or military.

Dr. Brumley emphasized that the selection of a school superintendent is one of the most important responsibilities of a school board member.
