TOTAL WINE & MORE TO OPEN SOON IN SHREVEPORT

The former Conn retail store location on Youree Drive will soon open as a Total & Wine More superstore.

The company's website states that his company is the country's largest independent retailer of fine wine. This company operates 277 superstores in 29 states. Louisiana has four superstores--Metairie, Mandeville, Lafayette and Baton Rouge.

The website touts that the typical Total Wine & More carries more than 8,000 different wines, 2,500 beers, and 3,000 different spirits.

The buying power of this retail giant results in lower prices that could adversely impact on many Shreveport Bossier locations that sell wine, beer and spirits.
