LOSING SHREVEPORT CANDIDATES NEED TO PICK UP CAMPAIGN SIGNS ASAP

Ok, I get it. Running a political campaign and then losing is no fun.  Been there, done that.

But there IS a city ordinance that requires all campaign signs of those not moving on to the general election are to be picked up in seven days after the election.

If one is still in a "lost the election hangover", that time period of one week expired on Tues. (Nov. 15) of this week.

Ok--here is the list of losers who are even more of a "loser" for not picking up their signs:

Adrian Perkins
Levette Fuller
Julius Romano
Carla Buntyn
Antonio Washington
Sheila Wimberly

This is the list reported to me. My guess others.
No, I am not the sign police. But I do object to public dollars being spent to have Public Works pick up political signs.

And hats off to those candidates who HAVE complied to the sign ordinance!! Great job in an effort that was not fun by any mean.

Jeeze–do we need to have these signs appear with candidate headshots in a local publication?
